In the autumn of 1976 the idea of Troy Players was born when a series of play-readings was held at the Troy Art Club. This was so much enjoyed by some people that when the series finished Ursula Bond-Taylor suggested that it might be a good idea to form a Drama Group. Others thought so too, and a notice was displayed in a local shop (Dolphin Dairy) to advertise a meeting to explore local interest......
